Gru must find a way to exit the right side of the room. He has one minion available to help him. The route is blocked by a rotary valve, which turns in 90 degree increments counterclockwise every time the red button is pressed.

Gru jumps and hits the red button three times. The rotary valve rotates a total of 270 degrees counterclockwise.

Gru stands inside the rotary valve and orders his minion to stand beneath the red button.

Gru blasts the minion with his wind gun, causing the minion to inflate like a balloon and float up.

The minion floats up and hits the red button. The rotary valve turns 90 degrees and Gru falls into the passageway below.

Gru can now exit the room.
